Making sure that the vocals in your finished GarageBand project sound just right is one of the most important parts of the mixing process.
May 05, 2017 Question: Q: How do people mix and master on Garageband ios for iphone and ipad? I cant fully mix and eq each individual track within the song as i would like. There is lots out there for support tor GB but GB ios strictly for iphone/ipad there is very little. I do understand it is newer and especially the 2.1 update. Tweak compression, limiting, gating and EQ (last) until you are happy with the result. GarageBand does not have a Normalise effect, which engineers apply to raise the whole wave file to its optimum level, a fraction below the point at which clipping occurs. However, you can normalise in GarageBand by careful balancing of track levels.
There are several things you’ll need to tweak in order to add that ‘pro’ sound to your vocal recordings. Ensuring the EQ (equalization) of the track is balanced being one of the most vital.
What Is Eq On Garageband
GarageBand has an excellent EQ feature built in that you can access from a track’s Smart Controls window.
